Manmohan Memorial Community Hospital was established in 2003 in Pharping with the objective of providing preventive and curative health services to the poor and disadvantaged people of this region. Initially it started providing health services through a Road-Side Clinic and later converted to the Community Health Centre. After running Health Center for some time, it was developed as a community hospital in 2005. Since then it has been providing health services to approximately 70,000 people of 3 districts, namely: Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Makwanpur. The health services are offered at minimum costs to the patients and also offered free of cost to those who cannot afford to pay. The hospital also organizes FREE health camps regularly for the benefit of these needy people in coordination with other like-minded organizations. The hospital provides its services from its three story building built jointly with efforts of Mohan Memorial Development Center (MMDC), the community, individual donors, government support, New SADLE and Milan Bindu. Presently the hospital is providing employment opportunities to more than 25 people. Available services in Manmohan community hospital include:
